_bettina_ how much I loved this part of Australia, and remembered I hadn't got around to posting many pictures from my holiday there last June with my sister, so here's a handful.
Just some pretty shots around Port Douglas itself.

My sister and I went out to the reef on 3 days, and while you can find many many many better photos, these are ones we took ourselves on the third day (rented a good underwater camera).
The water is often calmer than this, that was the roughest day we were out. That's me in the centre looking at the camera.
*** I believe we're legally required to say that about it...
