erilyn: gabe and mikey's hips (mcr - dorks)
Ack, I really need to go to the gym, but here, have this first (and wow I'm spammalicious today).

+ MCR at Madison Square Garden - 332 meg, 90 minutes, mp4
please use a download manager, don't link to my files or journal on communities, message boards, forums etc, thank you. I'd appreciate if you comment when you download, helps me keep track of things.

This is a quite watchable bootleg of MCR's MSG show in May (last show of tour), sound and video is reasonable for a bootleg. I've only checked bits and pieces, but looks complete (or close to it).
erilyn: gabe and mikey's hips (panic-ryan)
Many thanks to the person who captured this streaming file and shared it :D

+ Panic At The Disco - Live at Hove Festival Norway, 24th June 08 - 339 meg
Please don't link to my files or journal on communities, message boards, forums etc, thank you. I'd appreciate if you comment when you download, helps me keep track of things.

Haven't watched it yet, but it sounds packed full o' goodness! Panic come on about 8 minutes into the file, it's about a 60-70 minute set, and at the end, there's the beginning of an interview with Brendon and Ryan. The full version of that is here, and is interesting, as the interviewer asks them about religion (and specifically, asks Brendon about being raised a Mormon and leaving the church).
erilyn: gabe and mikey's hips (mcr - cupcake)
Just felt like posting some stuff. Please don't link to my files or journal on communities, message boards, forums etc, thank you. I'd appreciate if you comment when you download, helps me keep track of things.

+ MCR - Welcome to the Black Parade (live) - 54 meg
I've heard them sound better (the mix sounds a bit off or something, idk), but it's a gorgeously shot live performance music video of it (from here).

String Quartet Tribute albums - I really like these, though I haven't listened to all the Panic one yet.
+ My Chemical Romance - Bullets and Three Cheers - 53 meg
+ Fall Out Boy - TTTYG and FUCT - 36 meg
+ Panic at the Disco - Pretty. Odd. - 52 meg

KROQ's Almost Acoustic Christmas 2004 (though they really aren't almost acoustic) - fun performances, pro filmed. Gerard's wearing tinsel at the start, Mikey's got a cute beanie, Frank's in the pink hair phase.
+ Helena - 48 meg
+ Thank You for the Venom - 45 meg
+ Honey this mirror isn't big enough for the both of us - 41 meg
+ You Know What They Do to Guys Like Us in Prison (with Bert) - 37 meg
It's at the end of this that Gerard starts asking if the crowd has done all their Chrismas shopping yet, and if they get something for him, to not spend more than 25 bucks, cause you'll get a blowjob anyway.
+ Give Em Hell Kid - 25 meg
+ I'm Not Okay - 35 meg
Gerard sings a bit of We Wish You a Merry Christmas at the beginning. I could watch Frank on the floor from 3:08-3:12 over and over and over.

I was checking the setlist against this complete file at youtube (crappy quality, sound out of synch), but discovered that sadly, whoever shared the mpgs/made separate files of them cut Gerard introducing You Know What They Do (its from 13:23 at youtube).

He beckons Bert onstage, and says "We're gonna sing a song together about getting sodomised in jail if you guys are into that". When he's starting to tell the audience to snap along, Bert is all "Happy Holidays Gerard!" and Gerard stops and pats Bert on the head and wishes him happy holidays, and says he got Bert a present, though Bert's tone when he says he got Gerard a present too is weird. So doooooooomed. Bert's hair is really long here.
erilyn: gabe and mikey's hips (mcr - dorks)
All the discussion about the Panic unauthorised doco (oh brent :( I feel so bad for him now), reminded me about this superb example of documentary making.

Released before The Black Parade came out, it includes interviews with the guys from Eyeball Records and John Naclerio (who recorded Bullets, and whose stories are my favourite part of it) plus the usual crowd of other people with thoughts on MCR but no real connections (I'm being harsh, I quite like one of the radio djs who they interview).

Entertaining enough, in a trashy and occasionally WRONG way, if you can endure the British narrator mispronouncing Gerard the entire time.

+ My Chemical Romance: Things That Make You Go MMmm! - 354 meg, 61 minutes, rename to .avi

I am having such a lazy day, but turns out I really needed it. Plus, need my energy for the rugby semi-final tonight. C'mon the Waratahs! And go the Hurricanes, in the other match :)

+ Panic - FUSE Celebrity Playlist June 06 - 33 meg
The boys look good, and are kind of giggly and flirty.

+ Travis sings "But It's Better If You Do" - 17 meg
Complete with awesome dancing.

My Chemical Romance
+ MTV Diary - 158 meg
Fantastic behind-the-scenes of Warped 05 (including blink-and-you'll-miss-them cameos by some of FOB). So many great moments, it's some of my favourite MCR footage.

+ Channel 4 Music Presents My Chemical Romance - 170 meg
Four gorgeous black and white performances, interspersed with cute interview clips.

+ Under Pressure (live) - 42 meg
+ Under Pressure (mp3) - 4.5 meg
I'm picky about covers of Queen, but I enjoy this one. The live performance is all kinds of wonderful - including watching Bert and Gerard together (and mournfully saying DOOOOOMED periodically, as one does when seeing pictures or footage from this era) but Mikeyway rocking the fuck out on THE TAMBOURINE is one of my favourite things ever.

+ Welcome to the Black Parade music video - 150 meg

The second FLW is the version where you see Bob run away from the fire once the pain has gotten too much. Oh Bob.

+ Gerard and Ray singing Thanks for the Venom - 300 kb
Audio rip of the a cappella snippet in LOTMS.

+ On the Spot - 2.7 meg
Day or night? Vampires or werewolves? Cats or dogs?

Fall Out Boy
+ Pete's FAVE band - 1 meg
For popslash people especially ;)

+ Hollister special - 102 meg
late 2004/early 2005? Interviews, photoshoot, tiny instore performance - much much goodness. Including tales of Pete and his brother jumping off the roof (not too long before this was filmed) and their mum's reaction. Pete's tiara is modelled, and his unfortunate bout of leprosy explained.

+ Making the Video - Sugar We're Going Down - 101 meg
Patrick wears a pith helmet. Pete demolishes a fence with a golfcart. Andy throws a hissy fit at wardrobe. Good times.

+ Exposed - 58 meg
Interview in Mall of America. Andy is a pussy about feeding sharks. They lose Patrick. They need a block to stand on to be regular height. Possibly Joe is actually the furry of the group.

+ FOE Atlanta pt 1 - 18 meg
+ FOE Atlanta pt 2 - 19 meg
+ FOE Atlanta pt 3 - 17 meg
So much good stuff, from last year. Including debating the ethics of downloading your own leaked album. Pete v Charlie over whether something is vegan or not. Clearly that's Hemingway's stunt double (or Patrick's) since you see them together. Discussion about the fake stuff for Pete's Cribs episode. Patrick warming up before the show = some of my favourite footage :)
erilyn: gabe and mikey's hips (mcr - gerard)
Uploaded for [livejournal.com profile] turloughishere, so might as well post here.

+ MCR - I Don't Love You music video - 34.6 meg

Yes, it's incredibly dodgy that LJ are censoring the list of most popular interests. However, looking at the list of most popular interests, I discovered something interesting (to me): Taking Back Sunday are the most popular band on livejournal! More people list them as an interest than Nirvana or The Beatles. Brand New is about 30,000 behind, but still up there on the list, and ahead of MCR (but The Used beat them both).

I'm pouting that due to Easter and my not being organised, I'm going to be at work tomorrow. Sometimes, I'm home on Tuesdays, SO I COULD HAVE BEEN HERE FOR THE "LEAK" OF PRETTY. ODD. ON MTV. But no, I'll be at work for at least half a day. Then I need to come home and finish some tute questions and completely rewrite my resume.
erilyn: gabe and mikey's hips (mcr - raygerard)
Panic are performing on SNL on April 5th, which is pretty cool. Christopher Walken is the host. Ahahahahahahahahaha, that's ridiculously awesome.

Here's a bunch of various footage and audio that I've enjoyed and thought I'd share, especially as there's a least a few of you who are also relative newcomers to the bands, so might not have seen some of them.

please don't link to the files, or link to my journal in communities/message boards. Commenting if you download is much appreciated.

+ MCR - the Attic Demos - 17.4 meg
+ MCR - Astro Zombies (Misfits cover) - 3 meg

+ Crossover Interview of Awesomeness - 43 meg
Alex Suarez, Ryan Ross, Travis McCoy and Mike Carden. Together. Being awesome. Talking about underage fans, their future offspring forming bands, and Gabe's nipples (amongst other things).

+ Gerard impersonating Ray - 4 meg
Gerard tries his best mockery. Mikey reacts with an eyebrow raise.

+ Gabe and Travis - 2.7 meg
Hanging out in Gabe's place, mocking Fall Out Boy.

+ Pete on FUSE - 45 meg
from early 2006. Steven's interviews are always worth watching.

+ FOB Rock Sound TV Part 1 - 40 meg
+ FOB Rock Sound TV Part 2 - 11 meg
Some good one-on-one stuff with Patrick and Joe (who gets to draw stuff). I'm guessing they realised Andy doesn't say much, as they interview him and Pete together.

+ FOB Rolling Stone covershoot - 7 meg
footage of the photoshoot (boys playing with lightsabres *g*) and some interview bits (including Patrick singing "Almost Like Being In Love").

+ TAI - Slow Down (live, with bonus Pete) - 39 meg
Pretty good quality, from Warped 06. Pete comes out to sing (that should possibly be "sing") with William.

+ Panic - Rolling Stone interview - 36 meg
one of the first Panic interviews I ever saw, so much good stuff (including Ryan and Spencer's childhood misadventures). You'll probably need to turn your speakers up.

+ Panic - Live105Q&A - 15 meg
It's funny - as I've become more familiar with Panic, I'm reminded less strongly of Emmett (from QAF US) by Brendon here. Good interview from late 2006. The fan questions aren't too annoying, lots of fun stuff.

+ Panic - live concert from KROQ - 70 meg
Panic performing at KROQ's Almost Acoustic 2006.

Some radio interviews (most are from Nov/Dec 07, except the last two)

So, I'm guessing that a significant portion of the internet is dead from squee today, looking at the shenanigans that were going on last night for the last of the RRRGT shows :D I do hope some of the blowjob offers were actually followed through on.

::waits for any survivors to surface with reports and hopefully more video of semi-naked Ian::
erilyn: gabe and mikey's hips (mcr - raygerard)
Discovered that there was a Paul's Warehouse not too far from me, especially given I was going that way to my brother's place (bbq for my sister-in-law's birthday), so could not resist detouring to check out their two-for-one shoe sale. Left with two pairs of hightop chucks - green, and red plaid. Hurrah! ([livejournal.com profile] sinden: I don't remember seeing anything particularly good in your size, because a) a lot of what they had there wasn't very interesting (so much beige-and-olive anarchy), and b) didn't seem to be a lot of 9s. [livejournal.com profile] alasen: I don't know your size.)

Gacked from mcee: amazing video of Famous Last Words from the UK tour last year - for 3:45 onwards, when RAY THROWS HIS GUITAR DOWN AND SINGS HIS MOTHERFUCKING ASS OFF! I think I need a cigarette now.

First result when I plugged Pete into the random fact generator: A picture is worth a thousand words. A Pete is worth 1 billion words.

Also, one of the first when I tried Gabe: Once a cobra bit Gabe's leg. After five days of excruciating pain, the cobra died. [Gabe would be distraught!]

Album artwork! New song at AbsolutePunk! I had to save it to keep, so if anyone else wants it...

+ The Cab - Risky Business
erilyn: gabe and mikey's hips (panic-brendonryan)
I've been having a shit of a day (mostly my own fault, since I'm pathetic), but my mood has evened out a bit since earlier, so we're all spared me actually writing some massively emo post about my-life-so-hard. Whatever. Let's all be grateful for that, cause no one, least of me, wants to read that.

>> New dvd footage from Panic (set to 9itA) - I'm so glad I've ordered the special edition, though it'll probably be online before I receive mine *g*. SO ADORABLE!!!

>> tour update from THE CAB - Speaking of adorable...though they're ON NOTICE given their scandalous mocking of Galaxy Quest.

>> Gerard mocking Panic - days later, I'm still laughing about this.

Earlier in the week, I finally got around to listening to the Empires tracks that were posted a little while back, and I really liked them. I'm a post-Tomrad fan of TAI, and have no feelngs towards him one way or another, so it took me a while to get around to it. Me, so slow.
erilyn: gabe and mikey's hips (howie brian)
Just found this - very clear video of Howie slipping over and almost falling off the stage in Melbourne :D

I especially love watching him and the bodyguards (Marcus and Q, I think) crack up afterwards.

I suck, as I have not thanked the marvellous [livejournal.com profile] morebliss for the rugby calendar she sent me! Not my team, but hot rugby boys are always welcome :D Thank you so much!

Have some songs I've uploaded for various people.
+ Kanye West - Stronger
+ Cyndi Lauper - Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Because even if I didn't love the song, picturing Ryan and Spencer when Backstreet put out a song called Panic makes me happy everytime ;)
+ Purple Haze - Toxic
AWESOME a capella cover of Britney.
+ Julie Brown - I Like 'em Big and Stupid
+ Weird Al - Polka Power (medley)
Cause sometimes you just want some fun music

Gacked this Gerard interview (from late last year) from [livejournal.com profile] missmollyetc, I hadn't seen it before. I don't know which I love more: his previously well thought-out answer about what animal he'd like to turn into, his basfulness at talking about what he does that's romantic, or HIS OUTRAGE at the plot of Bridge to Terabithia and it's misleading advertising (and the accompanying head movements).

lots of videos, some babbling )

I have compressed the files, reducing the size to about an 1/8 of the original. If there's footage you particularly want the better quality original .mov files of, just let me know (but each concert was 1.5 gig in that format, which is why I compressed).
erilyn: gabe and mikey's hips (sga - otp)
Thank goodness for [livejournal.com profile] indybrat and [livejournal.com profile] not_nele coming to visit later in the week - it's made me get off my butt and do some cleaning and tidying. Except I probably shouldn't mention that I've done a bunch, cause it's still not that tidy! Especially since I've just moved some of the worst of the clutter, rather than actually sorting it out. And yet, I'm feeling accomplished about it anyway.

I've two episodes behind in Primeval and haven't watched this week's SGA yet. But my sister and I are gonna go see "The Jane Austen Book Club" tonight, in part to use up some free movie tickets that are about to expire, so tv will have to wait.

Hah, TAI boys again gather to watch Jason Siska on Survivor. Chiz's hair still looks odd to me, but the Butcher looks good with his new buzzcut!

Happy Birthday, [livejournal.com profile] divafits and [livejournal.com profile] jewelianna! Hope you have great days :)
erilyn: gabe and mikey's hips (band-gabe)
Booo-yah! First off, my boys didn't disappoint - NSW beat the Hurricanes, 20-3, in their first round of the Super 14 \o/ My rugby boyfriend, Lachie Turner, scored two tries and prevented a certain Hurricanes try. My condolences to the Hurricanes fans on my f-list.

And then, I came home to the amazing miss [livejournal.com profile] katienyc proving that I didn't dream up Gabe in a dress (though subconscious, if you're taking requests for later tonight...)

It's from the Cobra Tour Diary (part 3) and it can be watched here or downloaded from here \o/ It's only a couple of seconds early on, but worth it.

And if you haven't seen Travis with Patrick's adorable dog (and Patrick, but who cares about him *g*), rush off to http://traviesblog.com/post/26472523

+ Nick Carter on Nevermind the Buzzcocks, Sept 2002 - 176 meg
Nick doesn't say a lot, but is having a fun time, sings a little and looks GREAT.

The rest of Ryan and Jon's NME interview has been posted :)
erilyn: gabe and mikey's hips (happy2)
Some more stuff that I remembered about Jensen at the GNW filming (I've edited into main post, but in case you don't want to plow through again):

unlikely to be in GNW, but cut in case )

> Cute Panic interview from pre-Grammys stuff - no one else had candy for them! Brendon sharing a seat with Jon! Them not knowing if tickets are on-sale (clearly the HCT ticketing has baffled them too)!

For the "Things that make me happy" file: this Gabe/William manifesto by [livejournal.com profile] airgiodslv.

Uploaded by request, I figure I'll link in case anyone else wants it.
