Locals - anyone want to see Sherlock Holmes this week? Maybe a morning session in the city with lunch afterwards?

That's odd, there's a 10:20am session shown for tomorrow (though might be a bit busy as its cheap(er) Tuesday), but not for Wednesday. Earliest that day is midday.

I've watched like 6 or 7 episodes of True Blood in the last day or so. Can't make up my mind if I like it or not, so I just keep watching it. We're not supposed to like Jason, right? At all? Cause I keep wishing he'd die.

It's the most perfect tv-watching holiday weather - cool (for December) and rainy. Great for curling up in bed or in front of the tv.

oh yes, I'm not 100% sold about going on Tuesday, but going to a early session is very tempting, and the 10:20 only seems to be an option on Tuesday.

Lara is interested in seeing it tomorrow morning - shall we brave the crowds? if it looks too hideous, we can always blow it off and go eat yum cha instead lol :)

Is that in the city? eVent? (Can't get used to this eVent business). I usually find early morning sessions pretty good, but admit that that's during school time, not holiday time, but should still be okay I think.

yeah, the George Street cinemas formerly known as Greater Union but now forgettably called Event (seriously, wtf?).

I looked online, there were only a few seats booked for the session so far.

There are trains that could get us in at 9:32 or 9:47 - which shall we aim for?

I'll aim for a train... I never do the whole time table thing. I'll probably be at Killara station by about 9.30 to be safe.

If we know for sure Lara's going to be there, I'll be able to give her her Christmas present.

There's a train out of Killara just after 9:30am, but doesn't get to Town Hall til just after 10. I'm gonna aim to be at the movies by about 10 I think.
