Locals - anyone want to see Sherlock Holmes this week? Maybe a morning session in the city with lunch afterwards?

That's odd, there's a 10:20am session shown for tomorrow (though might be a bit busy as its cheap(er) Tuesday), but not for Wednesday. Earliest that day is midday.

I've watched like 6 or 7 episodes of True Blood in the last day or so. Can't make up my mind if I like it or not, so I just keep watching it. We're not supposed to like Jason, right? At all? Cause I keep wishing he'd die.

It's the most perfect tv-watching holiday weather - cool (for December) and rainy. Great for curling up in bed or in front of the tv.

I'm already in as discussed, but if we go Tuesday, it'd have to be the early session.

Jason... yeah, you're supposed to lust after him but not like him. In the books, he's pretty much a dick, too. (They needed a better looking actor, though).

oh yes, I'm not 100% sold about going on Tuesday, but going to a early session is very tempting, and the 10:20 only seems to be an option on Tuesday.

Is that in the city? eVent? (Can't get used to this eVent business). I usually find early morning sessions pretty good, but admit that that's during school time, not holiday time, but should still be okay I think.

yeah, the George Street cinemas formerly known as Greater Union but now forgettably called Event (seriously, wtf?).

I looked online, there were only a few seats booked for the session so far.

There are trains that could get us in at 9:32 or 9:47 - which shall we aim for?

I'll aim for a train... I never do the whole time table thing. I'll probably be at Killara station by about 9.30 to be safe.

If we know for sure Lara's going to be there, I'll be able to give her her Christmas present.

There's a train out of Killara just after 9:30am, but doesn't get to Town Hall til just after 10. I'm gonna aim to be at the movies by about 10 I think.

I watched the first 5 or 6 episodes of True Blood a couple months ago and then sort of forgot about it. I really like the Southern Vampire novels, so I wanted to like the show, but I just found it sort of strange. :/ As for Jason, he made me lol sometimes, but mostly I just wanted to slap him.

yeah, if I had new eps of other shows to watch, I think I'd forget about True Blood pretty quickly. But I'm up to date on most things (bar two eps of House and an ep of Supernatural but I just don't want to watch it). But True Blood is easy to watch when I'm being totally lazy.

I would watch an episode where everyone lined up and took turns slapping Jason. Now that's Must See TV.

Jason kind of grew on me despite his being an idiot and a dick. He does improve, in the dick stake if not the idots stakes. It was funny watching it with lemmealone, she kept exclaiming "Oh you stupid bastard" whenever he was stupid. Which was a lot.
