I just had one of the freakiest, scariest experiences of my life - driving through a fucking ICE STORM. IN SYDNEY. WTF???? Sure, we get some really nasty hailstorms, but I'm talking several inches of ice, it looked like fucking snow.

I had to pullover, and my windscreen wipers couldn't move eventually because of the mass of ice. Had to get out, hail/ice still falling, to try and scrape it clear. Chucks are not useful footwear at this point. I've got some photos of my car from once I got home, and I'm sure many photos will turn up of Sydney in this.

I was only a couple of minutes drive from home, but here, only light hail.

Glad you were able to pull over & then make it home - things like that are so scary.

I have never driven through something like that. And I've never seen that much white stuff on the ground here.
