I've seen multiple people say that there's an interview where Ray says he named his dog after Jack Bauer (but no one's been able to find it yet).

While this would explain the liner notes, I would find it odd that he'd refer to the dog as his son. His baby or his kid, I've heard people say that about pets, but not son or daughter. Just the usage I'm used to. And if this is the case, surely someone must have considered that it would get misinterpreted.

The Black Parade is Dead is awesome!!!! Also very awesome last night was hanging out with hnix, making cookies, and being a climbing gym for kittens! They are so precious, I wanted to hide them inside my hoodie and kidnap them.

I totally get that people can regard pets as kids, that's cool. But calling your dog your son is just weird :D

I'm so nosy and entitled, I want confirmation one way or another!
