erilynI've seen multiple people say that there's an interview where Ray says he named his dog after Jack Bauer (but no one's been able to find it yet).
While this would explain the liner notes, I would find it odd that he'd refer to the dog as his son. His baby or his kid, I've heard people say that about pets, but not son or daughter. Just the usage I'm used to. And if this is the case, surely someone must have considered that it would get misinterpreted.
