Honestly, I'll probably defriend people who use spoilery icons on posts. One of my big things in fandom is that I choose to remain as unspoiled as possible, and that's incredibly rude IMO, so I probably shouldn't have them on my friendslist, since we'd obviously have very different ideas on things.
It's not like the squee and people's comments outside cut-tags don't give away enough.
Yeah.. it is a nasty way to spoil people who prefer to remain in the dark. I was fairly careful when I posted to my journal as I knew you would be avoiding spoilers - I was not so careful eleswhere as I knew the community was *waiting* for the spoilers.
Lucky you did - big spoilerish posts there and no real respect for others like you wanting to be spoiler free.
lol... I would have been careful anyway but I was certainly more cautious cos you'd take to me with a big stick otherwise - and I'd hate to upset a friend. :)
