clearly I'm too stupid to phone post

I finally decided to try and set up phone posting, just in case I feel an urgent desire to post when I'm away next week, or make some concert posts over the next few months.

But when I call the Australian number, I get an invalid login message after I enter my PIN. I think I've entered both my phone number and PIN correctly, so not sure what's happening. Do I have to wait a while, or am I being an idiot?

ETA: apparently it's not me, it's that the fucked up Australian phone post number doesn't work most of the time. Not cool :(

No wonder it doesn't work, check out this graphic from the LJ homepage advertising that phone posts numbers are available in the US, Canada, UK, Japan and Australia.
