I'm trying not to panic, but I went to turn the computer on and check my email this morning, before heading off to my physio appointment. My neck and back are a lot better, probably back to around 90-95% of normal.

BUT THE COMPUTER WON'T TURN ON.

I turned it off last night because of the storms, and everything else seems fine this morning, but nothing happens when you turn it on. I won't have a chance to take it to get looked at until Wednesday afternoon, I'll try and keep an eye on email and lj from work and school, but doubt I'll be able to keep up.

::deep breathes::

Please let the hard drives be salvageable, even if the computer is fucked.

PS - cast of Brokeback Mountain are on Oprah today in Australia, I was hoping to be able to post this when the info might be of use to people.

Bugger, I've seen the download of the Oprah thing at Sel's and it's mega cute.

I noticed it late Sunday night, but had already turned the computer off because of storms, so I figured I'd post it early on Monday and hope that was enough warning. Always the way that somethings gonna come up!
