The essence of randomisity
Dec. 22nd, 2004 12:41 pmToday's SMH, Spectrum section - feature article/interview with Robert "Fritz the Cat" Crumb. I think I know a couple of people who are fans, so I thought I should mention it :)
I grabbed Diana Wynne Jones' "Deep Secret" to re-read on the train to work this morning. One of the main characters is Rupert Venables. One of the first things I did at work this morning? Involved someone called R Venables. I'm being stalked by a Magid!
I think the thing that I'm most looking forward to at Christmas is the 100+ new pop stories to read, when this year's Don We Now Our Gay Apparel goes live. We have our family do at lunchtime (which lasts most of the afternoon *g*), so my plan for Christmas night is to relax in front of the computer, stuffed full of food, drink in my hand, and read. Last year, I worked through the alphabetic-by-recipient list, top to bottom, and I think I'll do that again. That way, the pairing is a surprise, and I'm not tempted to read all my favourite pairings stories first off. This year, I'm making it a goal to jot down feedback as I go, to send once authors are revealed. I didn't send nearly enough feedback last year.
How do you SeSa?
