Bon Jovi

After having such an great time when I saw Bon Jovi in 2008 with lydia_petze and veronamay, despite our nosebleed seats at Acer Arena, I always planned to see them the next time they toured.

But I'm not sure how keen I am to see them at the Sydney Football Stadium in December. I think I'd honestly prefer Acer (and I'm not a fan). And it's a Friday night a week before Christmas - way to guarantee I'd end up with another commitment that night.

I think I'm talking myself out of it, alas.

Do you know who needs to tour out here again? Weird Al. That was an awesome show too.

It's kind of hilarious watching a soap that I'm betting has an actual budget (Emmerdale) after watching some which are run on the smell of an oily rag (One Life to Live) or less (As the World Turns).

There are actually extras in scenes at bars! Their outdoor scenes don't look like something from a student film! And did you know that when a character's in a coma, you could actually have the person appear to be on a ventilator? I bet if he'd needed brain surgery, they would have actually have shaved the guys head - crazy talk, I know.

And now twitter has gone crazy that there's gonna be a leadership spill for federal Labor. I WAS GONNA GO TO BED, PEOPLE.

ETA: dude, leadership vote is scheduled for 9am tomorrow. Fuck, we could have a new PM in twelve hours. We could have our first female PM in twelve hours.
