Bon Jovi

After having such an great time when I saw Bon Jovi in 2008 with lydia_petze and veronamay, despite our nosebleed seats at Acer Arena, I always planned to see them the next time they toured.

But I'm not sure how keen I am to see them at the Sydney Football Stadium in December. I think I'd honestly prefer Acer (and I'm not a fan). And it's a Friday night a week before Christmas - way to guarantee I'd end up with another commitment that night.

I think I'm talking myself out of it, alas.

Do you know who needs to tour out here again? Weird Al. That was an awesome show too.

Is it good for concerts? The stadium location is my main issue, more so than the date.

I've only seen Barbra Streisand there and it was pretty good. That was also the first concert there when the venue opened so I'm sure the minor sound problems they had have been well and truly taken care of. My brother saw U2 there and had no complaints. If I remember I'll ask him about it tomorrow. The Melbourne show is on a Saturday night.

I had a great time but I'd prefer not to see them at the stadium, I'm sure it's a great sports venue but it's lousy for conncerts.
