yo [livejournal.com profile] meelie, two more entries for Bad TV I Have Watched - Dinosaurs (not-the-mama!) and Full House (how rude!).

We saw Van Helsing last night, I enjoyed it, and I do think most of the silliness was intentional. I hope. And it was way better than Leage of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Sadly lacking in zombie pirate monkeys, flea circuses and many other things, as discussed on the long train trip home. Hey [livejournal.com profile] tboy, we had to wait 33 minutes for a train!

Introduced [livejournal.com profile] joeyvanne and [livejournal.com profile] weredonut to Professionals yesterday (Mixed Doubles). They were too distracted by the 70's clothes and production values to appreicate is properly ;p Next time: Sentinel! And [livejournal.com profile] joeyvanne showed us some Take That - oh lord, their performances and costumes are gayer than the Mardi Gras parade. And Nsync's Beatles medley from Celebrity tour? Way better sounding, but disturbingly similar looking to Take That's from 7 years earliar...

Diet coke with lime? Delicious and addictive. I like it even better than diet coke with vanilla.

Anyone come across details about Wango Tango yet, particularly as to whether the Boys sang, and if so, what?

+ Interview with Nsync from RollingStone.com - 25 meg.
Mov file. Hilarious interview from March 2000. They're answering questions sent in, many of which are very lame. Lance is exhausted/hungover/something, Joey is too, and the microphone is taken away from Chris at one point. Webspace thanks to [livejournal.com profile] sinbrat and [livejournal.com profile] hnix, rightclick/save etc.

Downloaded the interview, thank you.

Also want to say hi. Hope you don't mind me friending you, I kept running into your name friendsfriends surfing and you seemed interesting :)

As this post proves, Take That and The Sentinel, two wonderful things *g*

Heh, welcome to the insanity :) I certainly don't mind you friending me, I'm just really slack about getting around to these things, or I would have already friended you, as I enjoyed reading your posts, both fiction and not, on my friendsfriends. And if I never left you feedback for the Homeless AU, which I'm suddenly not sure of, I loved that story. Fantastic characterisation, and you practically made me cry :)

Sentinel was one of my big fandoms, Jim and Blair were my OTP for years, and I still love 'em. I'm suddenly feeling the lack of a TS icon, must rememdy that. [livejournal.com profile] joeyvanne has been threatening me with Take That for a while *g*, but I still didn't expect the sheer campiness and homoeroticism!

Thank you :)

For both liking my posts and especially my AU. I'm so glad you enjoyed it.

I'm always amazed how many people were in and moved on from TS fandom. I'm still hanging on there but barely. I still love Jim and Blair but the actual fandom doesn't really interest me any more, which makes me sad. The sdbs took over my brain I must admit *g*

TS was the first fandom I got involved in a big way, based on slash. I found slash through XFiles. Started reading TS (was a while after til I got to see some *g*), and joined lists soon after Sentinel Too aired. It was my main fandom for quite a while, but I eventually drifted on. When I finally unsubbed (or went no-mail, I'm not actually sure which) from SXF was a sad day.

And now I've been firmly in the sparkly grip of the dancing boys for over 18 months now, and no end in sight (I hope! *g*). It has been lovely to rediscover so many people from TS fandom in pop :)

Sentinel, Yay! Cityrail, Boo!

most of the silliness was intentional. It is, I swear it is *g*. Really! I promise *g*.

It wasn't just your line that Cityrail was screwing around with, for a change *g*.

I showed them The Man Song songvid in lieu of actual episodes, as we'd already watched Pros, but I'm determined to inflict it in the future :)

Nothing's better than diet coke with vanilla, the only bad thing, they don't sell it here. They just sell the regular vanilla coke, but not the diet coke version *whine*.

Anyway, thanks for the interview, very cute and poor Lance all exhausted hungover :-D.

Never really liked diet coke, but diet vanilla, yum! Sucks that they don't sell it there, I'm fearing the day when they stop selling it here (diet coke with lemon has vanished already).

The last lot of questions they answer, they skip Lance altogether. I think he's passed out face down on the table :)

They sell diet coke with lemon here, but I never tried it. Maybe I should, just to compensate the lack of vanilla diet coke... hmmm....

Yeah, I noticed. Poor Lance. All hungover and then to give an interview. But I couldn't have loved him more at his first answer that he would be an astronaut if he wouldn't be in the group. Ohhh... *pets Lance*.

My favourite Lance moment is where he's talking about how girls shouldn't just talk about themselves on a date, he just sounds so bored and dismissive, it cracks me up *g*.

I never really drank the diet coke with lemon, but I'm just hoping it's disappearance isn't indication that diet vanilla will follow soon.

*lol* Oh yeah, that's great, too. Lance, how I *heart* you! ;-)

I keep my fingers crossed for the diet vanilla coke! I don't really drink all that much soda, almost always just water, but from time to time it's good to have something else. When I was in London in March I drank as much diet vanilla coke as I could... already miss it again *sniff*. ;-)

Everything's better with a flea circus.

I liked the Professionals. I want to see more. Those were, after all, pretty spectacular pants. It was a shame you didn't get to see the Take That floor humping. We'll have to rectify that at some stage. *eg* Thanks for a lovely day BTW. Look 'BTW', OMG, exclamation mark, exclamation mark, one.

Rolling Stone interview - aww. I love it so much.

They were spectacular pants, and I've the advantage of having suffered through the clothes already, so I'm becoming somewhat immune to their impact *g*. Actually, remind me, I might have a tape or two with Pros eps on them that I could give you.

Floor humping? Are they even clothed by this point, or have they decided to forgo that completely? ;)

I'm surprised by how many people haven't seen the RS interview, but I have this blindspot when it comes to footage, that if I've seen it, I assume that it must be widely available stuff.

I wanted to let you know last night that I grabbed this interview as well as the last 3 files of the BSB on Much and the BSB at JoJo's show. But LJ wouldn't let me. :( So I'm telling you now. :)

I missed the first 4 files of BSB on Much and was wondering if you could pass them along over AIM or if you knew someone who still had them up.

I hope you don't mind, I friended you - keep seeing your name on the friendsfriends list.

Heh, welcome to the insanity around here *g*.

Unfortunately, I don't have the first 4 parts up anymore, and AIM hasn't let me send/receive files for a number of months now (so. damn. annoying.), but I'll try and put them up again sometime soon.

Hope you enjoy the footage :)
