Don't do that. If you buy something you'll be a bad example for me and I just might have to go out and get an iPod instead of waiting until I have everything settled again!
I'm fairly sure I want it and that'd be good - I just wish I could get it for less than $US30. If it was $A30, I'd buy it, but $50 or so is starting to look less justified.

unfortunately i don't think the pricing has anything to do with exchange rates, or probably macs would be cheaper here.. i guess you can get it from the us store, though?

But for that I can understand more, since they have to import them and whatnot. You buy QTPro over the net - there are no extra costs in selling to Australians that I can see. Grrr.
Y'know...I hear that some *highly* unethical people make software such as this available for free, via some highly questionable (ok, illegal) methods. It's quite likely that someone you know may be engaged in such activities. Not that I'm condoning such activities of course....just making conversation...
