Livestream of '8' from LA

Aparently my body has given up sleep for Lent *le sigh*. But I'm getting started on my to-do list for the day, especially as I want to be free (though who knows if I'll be awake) at 2:30pm today.

Because they are livestreaming the special one-off reading of '8' from Los Angeles - it is the play by Dustin Lance Black (who wrote Milk and J Edgar) about the Prop 8 trial. The cast is amazing and includes:

That sounds good! I haven't used it in so long that I couldn't remember the name of the software that I used for it, but I found it, and it appears to work (thankfully my password was saved in there). I'm erilynoz :)

I thought I could do it but I'm so tired. I'm not gonna make to watch the livestream. I am sad we can't watch together and I will just hope someone rips it. Until then, I will sleep.

Hopefully fandom will come through and someone will be able to save the file, or at least parts (plus the official twitter hinted there might be a legit download). But I shall try to post something! :)

Whole thing is now on youtube and downloadable from there. You'll just need to skip through about 15-20 min at beginning, and then there's some real news recaps of the trial, before the actual play begins.

It was fantastic, the entire cast impressed me, and the play really impressed me, to condense it like this, while keeping meaning and seriousness, while keeping it watchable and quite funny at times.

Ah, the end says it'll put up a full length copy soon. It was the middle of dinner, but I kept rushing out to see bits. First thing I"ve seen George Cloony or Bradd Pitt in - they both were quite good.
