well, that happened

Got yesterday off to an awesome start when I fell over outside my work. Tripped as I was jogging across the road, stumbled, and then fell to my hands and knees on the footpath. Scraped my left knee a bit, my right knee is quite tender to the touch still (I think it's bruising up now), but the main aches and pains were more in my shoulders and back from the impact of the fall and bracing myself. Not my finest moment.

Last Friday was pretty awesome though - I got the results for my final exam, and I passed! I haven't got my professional qualification quite yet, but the rest is just time, and most importantly, NO MORE STUDYING \o/

Spent Sunday - Wednesday down outside Melbourne for our annual training conference - the venue is lovely (and the food is outstanding!). Could have done without having to do a last minute job for a client - I was sending reports to their head office in Italy at about a quarter to midnight. Kinda ridiculous, between that and doing some payments before breakfast for another client, I billed close to a normal day on Tuesday, while away at a conference!

I have to give a training session on Tuesday (just to my department), and haven't started writing it yet. Ooops. And I need to catch up on some Sinpozium discussion (reminder - we're like a month or so away from needing to finalise our room booking, so please register if you haven't and are planning to come, or let us know if you hope to come but can't register yet).

New Glee this week (fucking finally)! And I have oodles of other tv to catch up on as well.

Oh, Fast and Furious 5 starts this week! Any locals got plans to see it yet? And should I see 2 or 3, are they gonna be relevant? (lol, worried about not following the plot)

Also, I only got out of my pyjamas at about 5pm. Laziest...

Thank you! It is such a weight off my shoulders :) I hope things are getting better at work, as you get more experience?

Even to me it seems like you've been doing it forever, so I can only imagine how long it seems to you. ;) Things on my end are improving also! I feel like I've gotten the worst of the new-place-strange-people bit over with. At least for now. Occasionally I even feel like I sort of know what I'm doing!

I am very, very sad to be missing out on seeing the spectacular gayness with you guys. :(((((((

Yay for things improving! Have you done any baking to share with new co-workers? How is kitty dealing with you working regularly?

I think it just seems like I've been doing it forever, cause I did TAFE 2005-2006, then uni 2007-2008, had a bit of a break study-wise, then started this in 2009.

My dad keeps teasing me about doing an MBA, and I'm like STFU! I'd probably do a Master in tax or something rather than that, but I'm not doing either (...anytime soon).

Not yet but only because I keep eating it all! Oops. Kitty is lonely and feeling neglected, I think. :( I'm dithering endlessly about getting him a friend.
