erilyn: gabe and mikey's hips (criminalminds)

You know what I'd love to read? Sherlock Holmes meets Spencer Reid.

Speaking of Criminal Minds, I was kinda amazed by 6x02 - I've never seen such a naked and blatant message to the audience through the plot of an episode (to the point of having JJ give a speech at the end) - we love her, she's awesome and amazing and part of the family, she's irreplaceable, we fought hard to keep and please don't blame us for her leaving. And AJ Cook looked especially stunning throughout the episode.

And the victim of the week survived! I felt like the Doctor in The Doctor Dances: "Everybody lives! Just this once, everybody lives!"

I did my last order from Amazon UK not that long ago, but the dollar is doing so well and there are some great deals, so I'm adding things to a basket and contemplating another. I mean $11 for QAF UK which I don't have on dvd, only video? Less than $25 for the complete Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister (some of my all time favourite tv shows)? For Jeeves and Wooster fans, the complete series is available for under $20.

Though I've just realised that half of my last Amazon order is missing. I thought it was just being a slow delivery, but just checked and it wasn't send regular mail like I thought - it was sent via DHL International. And my Kindle which was sent via DHL International left a day or so later than the case + extra charger, and arrived in under a week. Where the fuck are my case + charger? The delivery info only says that left the seller facility on Sept 21st. I think I need to chase this up.

Which Kindle did you get? I'm contemplating getting one, what with the dollar so good.

$US139 model - WiFi only, didn't see a need for me for 3G. I like it. Very nice to read off, still learning best ways of formatting things and organising stuff on the Kindle. Getting used to the way the display inverts when you "turn" a page, apparently that's just the way e-ink displays work.

Can't comment on the case (with built in light) that I bought, as it is missing in transit >:(
