From Jim Cantiello's Idol in 60 Seconds recap this week: and then Andrew Garcia taught us just how terrible Fall Out Boy lyrics are. Is James Montgomery going to have to cut a bitch? Blood could flow through the halls of MTV.

Adam Lambert is coming to Australia next week for promo (his album is finally officially being released, though it's been available in stores a bit since Christmas). Wooo, the album will now be sold with Voodoo as a bonus track, we'll finally get to hear it! He's doing a signing on Saturday (while I'm at class) and heavily rumoured to be performing at the Mardi Gras Party that night (when I'm going to see BSB - though technically I could probably do both, as it doesn't start til 10pm, but lol no).

There's also rumours of a Sunrise performance, which seems unlikely for a fairly unknown artist, but it would be totes convenient since I work near there. I'll just keep my fingers crossed for a public appearance that I can attend (and would attend - I'm not sure I'd go to the signing even if I was free, especially as I don't think I know anyone else who'd be keen).

Hah, he's performing on the SYTYCD results show - when I have class, so it's not worth trying for tickets.

We arrive in Avalon at 8am on Friday, renting a car and staying with K's parents in Portarlington. A hell of a drive, I know, We had a mad scramble yesterday in order to get things sorted. We are SO badly organised this time around. We fly back to Sydney (again, from Avalon) at 2:50pm Saturday, landing at 4:10pm. Fingers crossed that everything goes like it should.

But yes! We should be heading into Melbourne pretty early in order to get a decent car park. Should definitely meet up for food or something before the show. :)

Just gimme a holler or a text when you're in the city (if you're not rushing off to soundcheck, heh), I'll be there from lunchtime. No plans apart from meeting up indybrat, hopefully by late afternoon.
