Fanclub membership - renewed! And lol, my account details weren't deleted after all when my membership lapsed. Now, when's the hideously disorganised fanclub presale going to be sprung upon us with insufficient warning? (this is so not an exaggeration)

Ticketmaster is sellling for the Sydney show. Vorgin presale starts tomorrow, tix are $98.90.

First known presale is tomorrow for Sydney, fanclub presale could happen at any moment (there was no warning for the NZ presale apparently).

Am conferring with fickwalker about ticket purchases.

I wish we had more time to make up our minds. I think at this point I'm thinking just Melbourne.

The annoying thing is that most likely closer to the time when I'm not as stressed I will probably wishing I'd decided to go to both.

It is such annoying timing!

If this helps decide either way, I had a look at flights, and with Virgin Blue, we can come up from Melb to Syd on the Saturday for $119, and I could go down on Friday and you could come back on Sunday for $65, so $184 for each of us for the return flight (it was the best deal I could find at the moment).

And, since the Sydney show isn't out in the middle of bugfuck nowhere, it'd be easier to see other people for dinner etc while you were up here, and you have somewhere to stay of course. If you do want to do Sydney, just let me know by morning, in case they do spring the presale on us tomorrow, it's a possibility :)

Are you going to try for fanclub sales and if it doesn't happen go for the ticketek presale on Tuesday? As I'm not a fanclub member I can't help out there but at this stage (and baring unforseen doctors appointment) I can help with getting tickets on the Tuesday.

I'm feeling guilty now, cause I just got fantastic seats for Sydney through the Virgin Mobile presale this morning. Hopefully we can get some great seats for Melbourne too through the fanclub sometime in the next few days, or yeah, might need you to try for Melbourne (I have an exam at the presale time on Tuesday!)

I'm with Virgin Mobile too. They lie! I saw that update from Members Lounge twitter and lol'd, cause it was like an hour after the presale started at 9am. I guessed the password correctly on my second try.

Virgin and Ticketmaster haven't been communicating well ;)

I wonder if Virgin are only having the presale with ticketmaster, therefore only Perth and Sydney. There's nothing on ticketek about a Virgin presale for Melbourne.

The strange thing is that it's only the Sydney concert through Ticketmaster that has the Virgin presale, not even the Perth one.

There is a Ticketek presale at noon for Melbourne, which you have to sign up for a passcode via SMS and it's got a $20 premium on the tickets. Not sure whether to bother trying, since we haven't even had the fanclub presale yet.

I don't think it's worth trying that presale. I have never had problems getting tickets in the normal pre-sales ie where they don't charge an extra $20 per ticket.

I know, it's BIZARRE.

I'm looking at flights, since the prices now are probably as good as I'll be able to get.

Coming down will be probably be VB flight out of Sydney at 10:15 or 11:15.

Coming back - hmmm, I can save $30 and get Qantas flight at 10am (has less than 5 seats at that price), or get VB at 11:15 or 12:15.
