I have a question of great importance: if you could have any Star Trek actor announce the birth of your child to the world, who would it be? I'm leaning towards John de Lancie or Avery Brooks, though of course, it'd be hard to go past William Shatner. "It's a ba-by...girl.......Spoooooooock."

Cause Gerard and Lyn-Z have set a high bar when Levar Burton's twitter is how the news of Bandit Lee Way's birth was revealed (Mikey just retweeting Levar's message made me lol - laziest new uncle ever). And confirmation that Bandit was a girl was apparently made by Frances Bean Cobain. How's that for making an auspicious entrance into the world?

I'm amusing myself at the thought of a band made up of the offspring of bandom folks - Bandit, Bronx, Hero, Danger (Keaton Lazarra going by his middle name), Vio?let (keeping the family tradition of random punctuation) and Wikipedia Nonsense (she changed her name because she didn't want to stand out with a boringly 'normal' name).

Cause I need amusement - I'm on the mend from this cold (slowly), but somehow, despite not having been to the gym or swimming since the weekend, I've managed to hurt my back. It's so stiff today, I can't bend properly, and I don't know why :(

And why did my sister email me saying "You didn 't say anything about there being a stargate altlantis movie!!!" (actual copy and paste, abusing punctuation runs in the family). What is she talking about (man I've completely fallen out of that fandom, apparently), and why did it go to spam mail?
