Fast and Furious

Saw it on Sunday. I feel I was misled about this film.

Somehow, the various squee I saw around lj about this film FAILED TO CONVEY the true levels of gayness that it achieves :D Hah, the significant amounts of girl-on-girl action couldn't hide that from me, filmmakers!

Seriously, from Brian sensing Dom at the funeral (noooooo! not Michelle Rodriguez, she is too hot to die!), to the buildup to their reunion, to the massive amounts of smouldering and flirting and innuendo (c'mon, during the race, Brian is all "lol, you shot too early Dom") and the ending of lawbreaking love , it was cheesy slashtastic heaven.

I'm a little concerned about Brian's psychosexual development that his reaction to Dom beating the crap out of him is to assume the position. Though he did do a great impersonation of a Bond villain(ess) with the attempted crushing of head with thighs.

Also, there needs to be much post-movie fic, including domestic hijinks in which the Torettos continue to hold Brian's betrayal from long ago over his head, particularly whenever there's some sort of annoying chore to be done. Everytime they fight about who's turn it is to wash the dishes or take out the garbage, you just know someone will end up mentioning "well I think the person WHO LIED TO US ABOUT HIMSELF should be doing it tonight."

Bad association I did not want - the creepy driver with the foot fetish made me think of Jon Walker /o\

And if anyone could hook me up with a non-torrent download (maybe via email, erilyn (at) lj works), so I can edit out the seasick-o-vision parts and show iibnf the important plot gay moments, I would love you best of all :D NEVERMIND :D

It has a couple of out of focus bits - One just when the title sequence is going on and it's a little dark and slightly unfocused during the tunnel race.
