I haven't accomplished much (but it's a long weekend, I'm supposed to be lazy!). I have been to the gym twice, yay. And [livejournal.com profile] hnix and [livejournal.com profile] iibnf came over for dinner and vegeing out last night. Things I (re)learned: Man from UNCLE was a very strange show, and THRUSH were the most ineffectual villains ever (with inexplicably enormous vents for convenient escaping). Also, sometimes not much happens apart from people over-explaining secret and/or evil plans.

Prompted by my looming absence for a week, I spent half of today reducing my firefox tabs from 63 to 12 8 \o/ And half of those are tabs I have permanently open, like my f-list and twitter.

Another is the ticketek page for the Straylight Run Soundwave sideshow. I like what I've heard of SR, and tickets aren't unreasonably priced, but it's on a Monday night after a busy weekend of two FOB concerts. And it'd take me over an hour (maybe closer to 90 minutes? not sure) to drive home afterwards, but at least they're not top billed so I wouldn't have to stay til the end. Ugh, decisions. If only it was a weekend, or in the city, or a different week. I think I'm talking myself out of it, whoops.

Things I need to do tonight and tomorrow: plan what I'm taking to Perth, especially work clothes. Watch Supernatural and Bones. Maybe do something sociable? Maybe go to the gym?

In case people haven't got it already - from the Watchmen soundtrack:
+ My Chemical Romance - Desolation Row
It's a rip from the vinyl. I like it!

I appreciate what you're trying to do, but please don't try and guilt me into doing something.

I don't know if I'll ever have a cat again, to be honest. And I certainly can't get one while I'm living at home, mum and dad aren't interested.

Thank you for the MCR song!

Also, I hear you on the SR shenanigans, but I'm too much of a sucker for them (and I like the headliners too, sigh) so I'm making that ridiculous trip out. :DD:

Thanks for the MCR track!

And, hey, going to the gym and reducing your tabs to a reasonable number sounds like a productive weekend to me. Heh.

did you know I'm seeing AAR twice in a months time? :) if only it'd been The Cab touring with FOB and them (though I am looking forward to seeing Hey Monday), I would have been saying you need to visit again ;)

someday, I'll make it to your hemisphere for some shows though!
