Perthites! (Perthians? Denizens of Perth?)

I am going to be in your fair city on the weekend of January 31st - Feb 2nd (I arrive Friday night, and am actually there through the week, but the week is going to be boring work stuff, most evenings included).

I would love to meet, have a meal, whatever! I shall also be trying to do a little sightseeing, as I've never been to Perth before.

Now, I just have to get around to booking a hotel for the Friday and Saturday nights :) Criterion Hotel is the right sort of price range for me (ie cheap) and I think it's in a fairly central location but reviews are very mixed. Ugh, I hate making decisions sometimes.

I also need to book a hotel for Brisbane for the FOB concert. I thought I'd found a really awesome price for a nice hotel near central station!...but it turned out I'd looked up my Perth dates instead of the actual Brisbane date I needed, whoops.

I'm totally up for dinner on Saturday night! I fly back to Canberra on the Sunday arvo. But I'm also up for more than just dinner, if you need transport/want to hang out.

I'm probably staying with not_nele, and dinner on Saturday night sounds excellent! I have no specific plans of what other stuff I want to do yet, I am monumentally disorganise. But yes, see Perth! And stuff! :)

I'm so disorganised - any chance you're free Saturday afternoon for playing tour guide? I know I'd love to visit Kings Park, but apart from that, I'm open to suggestions about where I should go.

Also, dinner on Saturday night would be good! I have no concept of where might be a good location to suggest. not_nele has a wedding to go to, so she won't be free (not sure if I'll be heading back to her place after or if I'll be going to a hotel).

Hi Lyn! I'm so sorry, I've only had sporadic email access. I actually miscalculated my dates, I'm flying back to Canberra tomorrow morning (Saturday). I'm so disappointed, I was really looking forward to showing you a bit of Perth.

I'm sorry we won't have a chance to catch up, but I'm glad you realised when your flight was before today ;)

I'll just have to get around to coming down to Canberra to do the stuff I keep thinking about, and make you play tourguide there!
