cheesy christmas carols ftw! \o/

(This is going to be exciting to no one but me, sorry. Also, I'm currently wearing tinsel tied around my head like a sparkly Rambo. Just so you know.)

Putting the Christmas tree up (partially, it's on hold due to my short attention span) made me think of my all-time favourite Christmas album. Not because it's the best, but because it is the central soundtrack of Christmas pretty much my whole life - Disney's Christmas Favorites (performed by Larry Groce, The Mike Sammes Singers and The Disneyland Children's Sing-Along Chorus). A couple of songs include Disney characters, but most are just regular carols.

I still have the record, but it's been getting worse and worse to play, and when I'd looked a while back, I couldn't find it available on cd (and when it isn't Christmas, I forget to look). I'd only found one song from it around online previously. But thanks to google, today I found it!

Sort of. The album people were sharing isn't quite the same thing as I have, though the cover album art is in the middle of mine, and the back art is the same (mine has twice the songs). Looks like our record was a hybrid of Disney's Christmas Favorites and Disney's Merry Christmas Carols (which has the right cover art), with some other things thrown in. Must have been the Aussie version or something. No wonder I couldn't find the right album when I looked online, even amongst old stuff (cause I am easily confused).

Out of 24 songs, I have 17 in cd quality, another 4 that have been converted from LP (plus a lot of overlaps). If anyone has these songs they could share (as performed by the above mentioned artists, I have other versions of the last one *g*), I would most appreciate it!

- The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don't Be Late) - though I think I know how to get an mp3 from a flv file, but I'll ask anyway
- Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
- I Wish It Could Be Christmas All Year Long (for completism sake, I think it's my least favourite track on the album, though The First Noel rendition, apparently featuring Molly Ringwald, is kinda crappy)

I've downloaded 4 different assortments of the Disney Christmas songs, but none have included these tracks.
