The last 24 hours have been fucking shitty (with the exception of hanging out with iibnf and watching ANTM).

Got a surprise when I got home from work tonight, and it was a good one for a change - a letter from my uni telling me that I'd won a prize for one of my subjects last semester (they must only do prize decisions once a year I guess) and a $100 cheque.

...

\o/ Gives me a slight boost of confidence about starting study for my professional qualifications next year (which I'm dreading).

ETA: this totally calls for spending half my prize on "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge" on vinyl, right?

Here's a fun example of me being a dumbass: do you know that because I know you and iibnf through such different channels that it took me like six or seven posts of hers to realize you were the same Erilyn? I think I just worked it out maybe a week ago.
