Cause you know what I'm doing? I'm pulling EVERYTHING out of my wardrobe (which is pretty big), and then I'm scrubbing the walls. Cause I have mould >:(
Tomorrow, I'm going to prune before restocking the wardrobe, at least 10% is not going back. Preferably 20%. I'm going to be ruthless (which since I'm a packrat, doesn't come easily).
My life is non stop excitement, people!

Date: 2008-11-08 03:58 am (UTC)But it feels so wasteful to get rid of things just because I haven't worn them in 3 (or 4, or 5) years - you never know when you might get around to using them!
I've got a couple of boxes of crap stored in there too, that's where I know I have to be ruthless (wtf video tapes of The Sentinel? why am I keeping you? I will never use this - dvds and avis are my new overlord now).

Date: 2008-11-08 03:54 am (UTC)About the mould: me too. Get one of those little buckets with the moisture-collecting pebbles and stick one in your wardrobe. Mine has an AMAZING rising damp problem that fills those buckets to the top with water every six weeks, and they're a bit pricey, but my shoes are no longer mouldy.

Date: 2008-11-08 03:57 am (UTC)I was not happy at how much mould I could see once I pulled everything out. Hopefully a 1 in 4 dilution of bleach wiped over all the walls does the trick.
Good luck with being ruthless!
