Am I the only person who read the part in the Out interview, where Pete talked about knowing someone he thought was gay but the person doesn't know they are, and thought "lol cash" rather than "come out brendon"? I love that Gabe is annoyed that Pete has apparently forgotten about them making out.

I'm still a little drunk after post-work drinks. My first week went pretty well, I think, and I like my team and the other people I've met. Most important thing I've learned is to not accept a lunch invitation without checking that someone has made a reservation, insolvency boys >:(

I had a very involved dream last night. I was at a music festival, lots of bands, including many bandom ones. I was hanging out with Butcher (as you do) as people were showing up, which was awkward because Tom got there around the same time as the rest of TAI, so after Butcher left with them I was like "...hi, I really like your album". At some point, I was wandering around with someone, and we accosted Andy (he was with some guy, I'm gonna assume it was Matt Mixon since they're totally boyfriends) and asked for (and received) hugs. WTF subconcious? The far superior dream hug was when I met up with canadiankracka at the empires show at this festival, but then I left during the show to go grab my camera (I woke up shortly after). Though that wasn't as weird as how I was telling Lex about something I'd seen the Cab guys doing earlier, cause why wouldn't she have been there too? :D

Bitching is productive - after my rant last night, two of my Deep Discount packages arrived today (#1 and #3), only the last one from there and the one from Amazon to go :)

I spoke to one of my bosses and he's fine with me taking the afternoon and morning off to go to Brisbane like I have booked (for the Panic/TAI/Cobra show in August) \o/

I was mostly wondering if you had somewhere to stay, but I could be tempted to go...

Is it set seating? I don't think I'm inclined to go if I'm sitting on my own, but I definitely would like to catch up while your here.

I'd love to catch up if we can :) It's GA on the floor (I've got a ticket for the front half - Panic Pit). I'd suggest trying gayasblazes2008 and fbraustralia if you want to ask if anyone has spares (there's nothing on ebay at the moment for Brisbane unfortunately).

And we've just booked a hotel room, but thank you! :)

Well, you'll have to eat before the concert, right? Maybe we can have dinner or lunch. When do you arrive and leave?

I'll contemplate tickets, but it'll depend on cost because I've committed to the Great Escape and that's pricey.

An early dinner before the concert might be do-able, depending on what time it's actually going to start (as I'm not skipping most of the opening acts this time around *g*).

I arrive Wed 3:30pm and leave Thurs at 9am - I'm planning on only taking two half-days off from work.
