I had a job interview this morning and went to work for half a day.

Came home and received an invitation to next round of job application from another place, which I interviewed at last week. Go me.

Then...I received a job offer from today's place \o/ Have said I am very interested, but of course have to see the details etc. She's going to send me the contract today or tomorrow. I'd be starting in July, rather than next February (which is the case at a lot of places for graduate programs), so I'm almost certainly going to accept rather than keep looking. It isn't as big a place as the firm I got the invite from (nor does it have as swish an office), but a job (starting soon!) is worth more than a chance at something which wouldn't necessarily be any better. And pay is going to be pretty similar for graduates everywhere.

Realised that my package had finally arrived from the FBR Store - Cobra hoodie + some tshirts \o/

Discovered they sent a TAI green shirt instead of the FOB is for lovers shirt I ordered, bastards. (And it's not that I don't love TAI, I got a different one of theirs in this order anyway.) Plus, the wrong TAI one is XL, while the FOB one was ordered in L (big for me, but there weren't many left).

Congrats on all of the jobs!

Care to toss one my way? ;)

Do you want to move to Sydney? :D

But seriously, I wish I could! Just keep sending out applications, I sent at least 16 applications to get 4 interviews, one of which I haven't had yet, one of which I didn't get to the next round, one of which I just got to the next round, and one which offered me a job.

Yay for jobs! I know that's been stressful for you. And hey, just email the store and they should send you out the right shirt. That's what they are doing for me. I haven't actually received said shirt yet but the shipping is kind of ridic there anyway. And hey, I got a bonus shirt out of it. Too bad it's a size small...

I've emailed the store about getting the right one (or a refund), ta!

Which one did you end up of a small of? I might fit into it. Do you want this TAI shirt?

It was the free one you got with the Panic boxset, the brown one. And Lauren has already claimed it, sorry. If you don't want the TAI shirt I will totally buy it off you, TAI pride man.

I just have so many tshirts now that I'm not gonna get much wear out of one that's too big for me, so you can have it :D

My Panic tshirt that came with the boxset is a bit big on me, despite being labelled as a small. Most odd. It's definitely a larger size than the other size small band tshirts I have.

Sweeeet. I love tshirts.

Yeah the sizing is all over the place. My OCK shirt was originally a size small and I could just fit it so I have no idea what size is actually is. Hopefully I get my panic shirt quickly and it's as pretty as the brown one. Mmmm tshirts.

THEY WANT ME TO SEND THE TSHIRT BACK TO THEM (and they'll refund me the cost of postage, but they specify American-categories of postage I have to use).

Idiot answering my email didn't bother to notice that I'm an international customer, I assume. I'm gonna email back and ask really? You want me to spend at least $15 sending this $10 shirt back to you?

ARE YOU SERIOUS!? Stupid, stupid people. I have a feeling once you point it out to them, they'll realise how completely ridiculous that is. I must have gotten a nice one.

Excellent news on the job front! Congratulations!

Too bad about the shirts, though. That's a bummer.

Hopefully they will send me the right FOB tshirt, and the end result will just be bonus TAI :D

And thank you!!!

I'm all EEEEEEE! but also so nervous. It's a real fulltime job, at somewhere I haven't been working for almost 6.5 years.

Thank you! I'm so nervous at the thought of starting something new, of actually trying to have something resembling a career, rather than a serious of jobs.
