I watched this with my sister this afternoon, before we went to the rugby.

OMG, they killed Tosh! You fucking bastards :( And just after they finally explained her appearance in that Dr Who episode (I laughed so much). What a fucking waste.

Owen - not so much a surprise, what were they going to do with him at this point? But the manner of his death was also :( I was never a huge Owen fan, but it was all pretty moving.

With two main character deaths and significant damage/carnage to Cardiff - we were so surprised that the Giant Reset Button of Doom wasn't pressed. I find its an annoyingly overused cliche, but I might have welcomed it to get Toshiko back.

As for Jack - buried (sort-of) alive for 1900 years - how is he not insane at this point?

Gwen was pretty kickass when she took charge, and Ianto got some good lines. Captain John was good, not too over-the-top, kept him interesting.

I have just finished watching it... I got all teary. I liked Owen and Tosh and I'll miss those characters.

I went back and forth on Owen, but this made me teary. He was literally a dead man walking though, so not a huge shock to me, but when Tosh was shot and THEN SO FUCKING AWESOME and then died anyway...I was desperately hoping for a reset button that even by then obviously wasn't gonna get used.

I was hoping for a Giant Reset Button of Doom, but yeah, i guess they figured they'd used it enough.

About 39 minutes in, after they realise Owen isn't gonna be able to get out, when Tosh and Owen are reminiscing, she said she had to cover for him really early on cause he was hungover, she had to pretend to be a medic, and they mention spacepig :)

I really liked when Gwen asked Rhys to marry her again. I think Rhys and Andy should get their own comedy spinoff.

The actress was in the first (new) season of Who, a little role as a doctor examining an alien (which was a transformed pig) in the first Aliens of London/World War 3 eps. And she and Owen were talking about how she had to cover for him and pretend to be a medic, in the spacepig case.

I just watched it this morning and I cried. I was starting to like owen and toshiko was just become so awesome! And then bang, both gone! Not happy and I am kind of hoping that because they are now down on team members and there is no reset button that I was hoping for too. That Captain John can start coming back a little more now because I do kind of like him now he isn't a complete jerk. But poor Jack and his brother.

Just saw it. My "oh, emotions!"-ending was spoiled with me asking, Wait, wait, didn't Jack at some point resurrect a dying person with sharing a life force with a kiss? Why not now, then??

I always liked Owen. The group dynamic needed a character that wasn't all starry-eyed with Jack. I wan't spolers! Are they going to truly replace the actors? With who?

I know! What's that about? I find it just so unbelivable that he seems so unaffected by it.

Sadness for Tosh and Owen. Is it wrong that I just hope this means more screen time for Ianto in S3? Silver lining and all that...
