Supposed Panic tour dates for Australia and NZ have been posted, but the source is a Panic Aussie street team myspace, so I'm kinda skeptical (which is sad, because the reaction when jocondite and I saw them? It was impressive *g*).

ETA: dates are false, apparently the dates will be announced on Thursday?

Ohhh my god, if those dates are for real? I am torn between "oh god work going to kill me ded" and "OH THANK FUCK". heh.

I'm amused by the comments, especially people criticising the venues. I've never been to Festival Hall in Melbourne, but I've only heard negative things about it *g*.

The dates aren't bad for me, though how many I'd get to would depend on work situation at the time (Melbourne and Sydney would definitely be do-able though). What makes me skeptical, apart from the lack of confirmation, is the four days between Melbourne and Sydney (unless they're hoping for second shows), and going to Auckland then coming back here for Brisbane.

I must admit, my first thought was "DAMN YOU ST JAMES, FOR BURNING DOWN!" because I do not love the Vector Arena much, but, seeeeeeeeriously, I don't see where complaining about that in the comments helps anyone much. ;)

And, yeah, I'm twitchy-huh-what? about the giant gaps between some of the shows, because, on the one hand, if they go for a second show? Mint, I am so there, but on the other hand... bwuh? And going back to Aus. after Auckland just seems weird to me. Date wise I'm sort of good, sort of screwed, because in an idea world I would do Melbourne and Sydney (and maybe Brisbane, but that's cos I have free accomodation there, if nothing else), but I definitely couldn't get the five days off work it'd take to bounce from Melbourne to Sydney back to Auckland for that show. Hrm. I guess obviously the smart thing to do is to just not let myself worry until we have confirmed dates. :D
