US concert dates for MCR

I'm not sure whether or not to hope for Canadian dates. On one hand, I'd like to see them live. On the other, ow my wallet. Also, hello? Boys? Tour dates already I must plan my summer!

They're apparently about to do a big change to the fanclub in the next week or so (changing who's running it, the look and content etc), so maybe soon after that?

Yes, I see that (about the only time I drop by the site is when I suddenly wonder if tickets have been announced, like now!) I see you guys will be getting soundcheck "parties", v. cool :)

There was an article a few months ago that hinted that they might have difficulty booking places in the States because their last tour didn't sell well enough. But considering they've been in the top 10 on Much More Music for like, the last month at least, they should totally make an effort with Canada. We would treat them properly! :)

I'd be shocked if they didn't do a Nth America tour, even given the poor album sales (it flopped in Australia), even if it's smaller venues/scaled down somehow. And yeah, Canada has always been so good to them, they should realise that by now *g*.

Oh I'm not saying they won't do one, I totally expect they will, but I think that's maybe one reason it's taking a while to give us dates. Everyone wants to book the big summer blockbuster tours and BSB are not expected to be that, so they'll be lower priority. And the Boys are usually pretty good to Canada. Heck, we got at least 6 or 7 dates on the last tour. I'm not sure which is a bigger per-capita territory for them, us or Germany but I think it's pretty close either way.
