Dr Who Christmas special

erilyn::lights cigarette:: aaah, new Who (and I don't even smoke).
Not my favourite Christmas special, but still enjoyable. That all the white men survived while everyone else died was fucked up. And the girl just has to fall for the Doctor *yawn*. I preferred Astrid's flirtation with Bannakaffalatta.
The plot was like the lovechild of Titanic, Starship Titanic by Douglas Adams (nice 42 reference in there) and the Poseidon Adventure. And that Futurama episode set on a doomed spaceliner Titanic.
But Kylie was cool, I'm glad the midshipman survived, and my favourite bit was the corgi being evacuated from Buck House and the Queen waving at the Titanic.
When the Doctor watches the Tardis head for Earth, my sister said it looked like it was going to Cardiff. I wanted to see it land on top of Torchwood, and Jack being all "now who knew exactly what to get me for Christmas?"
