Bon Jovi tickets

I had a post mostly written, trying to extrapolate what the actual prices for the Bon Jovi concert will be (as they aren't on Ticketek yet) from the prices on Preferred Seating, which are always significantly marked up.

Then I found the actual prices on the Acer Arena website, duh.

Premium: $199.00
Gold: $139.00
Silver: $99.00

veronamay, are you planning on going? Presale is Monday, regular sale is Thursday. I'm googling setlists, but I think I'll regret it if I don't go. Hmmm.

I got the Preferred Seating email this morning, and they're way dearer than the standard prices. There's also a $30/ticket "service fee" which is downright rude.

However, when I grabbed some seats experimentally, they were available, so I guess that means they aren't moving too quickly (at that price, anyway).

Yeah, the markup is why I was trying to guess what the actual prices were (and I was close! I thought Gold would be $150). I'm not suggesting actually using Preferred Seating (unless I got desperate, guess) *g*.

Actually I'm glued to Ebay atm. If the price of SexyBack lounge tickets keep on the way they are I might nab a pair at the last minute.

And yes. I'm not going to say no to Bon Jovi! But this does mean I might have to dig out their lastest album and actually listen to it.
