iibnf came over and watched SGA and Criminal Minds with my sister and I.

Worse. Episode. Ever.

Ok, that's a lie, it's not anywhere as bad as Irredeemable, in that the basic premise was sound and had potential. But the episode itself was boring and poorly written (the huge dumps of exposition! every cliche under the sun, without doing anything interesting with them!) and made me hate everyone for being stupid, though mostly Sheppard and Laryn.

Huh, just looked at a couple of episode posts. Wish I'd seen the episode y'all enjoyed *g*.

Oh, I totally forgot about this conversation early in the episode.

Sister: But if it's a planet of backwards people, aren't they taking advantage of them?
iibnf: Have you met this people? They have no sense of...what's the word?
Me: Right or wrong?
iibnf: I was going to say ethics or the Prime Directive, but that works.

Aussies-for-whom-this-is-relevant: Daylight Savings starts overnight. Clocks go forward an hour.

We've already had one mistake - someone changed a clock that had already been changed, and there was confusion *g*.

Uhhhhhhhhhh... didn't like it much either. Except for the Rodney bits. Those I enjoyed. But the chick was annoying, and, bah. Oh and I liked Sheppard's lounging. But that's about it. [g]

It was just so by-the-numbers - we predicted everything in the episode before it happened.

I think I spent most of the episode telling the walls I could have written the damn dialogue between Sheppard and Laryn better.. The rest I spent going 'look at how pretty Sheppard is'. Saved it for me.

Why must all female leaders be the same cliche! WHY??? Laryn could have been great, but I felt like she was just blah!!

SGA, please bring the kick-ass episodes back. Thnx!

The dialogue was so trite. I suspect we'll be seeing her again, so I wish I'd liked her more, but the episode was just meh.

Hopefully next time she will be better written. Or have lost the power of speech.

And at least now they make fun of Sheppard and his girls. Now if only we could get some Sheppard and McKay.. *dreams*
