I've never been sure if the story about Nate, their tiny drummer, moving into Gabe's basement when he joined the band (at 19) was true or not...

Noooo, but I like exploiting your weakness ;p

Gabe is awesome for many reasons: he started Cobra Starship because a time-travelling cobra told him to (BEST BAND ORIGIN STORY EVER, still slays me *g*), he wrote the Snakes on a Plane song, marries a hooker bunny furry in one video (and they have baby bunnies together) who then turns out to be Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy in another video (canon mpreg assbunnies! plus the video is about the hilarious band origin story), and he wears a pendant with a picture of Justin Timberlake.

Most importantly, I seriously love their music, it's so much fun (even the creepy one about locking someone in the basement) and makes me happy :)

I used to call vaudevilles Bad Influence Girl, and china_shop The Corruptor, for luring me into fandom. I think you need a superhero handle too. Would you like to be 'Pimpalicious Ho'? Bad Influence Girl II just doesn't work.

I feel like I never thanked you properly for the disc of Who Confidentials you gave me at g/t. I haven't watched them yet - been busy trying not to barf, which takes up more time than you'd think. I am simultaneously anticipating and dreading the one for Evolution of the Daleks. I kind of want to hear what they have to say for themselves, but I don't think I can stomach watching them talk about what a great episode it is.
