Oh crap. I thought I had tonight, tomorrow morning *and* tomorrow night to write this fucking accounting essay. Turns out that my sister and I are going to Miss Saigon tomorrow night (yay for free tickets through her work, booooo for her not reminding me until now about something I agreed to months ago). Fuck, I suck. It's only 1200 words, I just need to get it actually written, and stop wasting time doing pretty much anything but.

The first episode of the local version of The Singing Bee is listed in my tv guide as The Signing Bee.

Ack, I seem to have not saved this Fall Out Boy story (or if I did, can't find it): Pete falls for guys (like Mikey and William) but due to his dislike of penises, it goes badly. Eventually, he learns to love the cock through his love for Patrick. Help? ETA: found! :)

That's it, thank you! Also, I suck as a) she's on my friendslist and b) I was searching for it through delicious links and saw that one and went "nah, that's a different story" without actually looking at it *g*.

You write essays about accounting?!

Essay about the effects of changes to accounting standards, no less!

Kill me now. Though it is the first essay I've had to do this year, so it's not a common event.

Yikes. I could try, but I'm pretty sure I can't kill you from this distance.

Hiya! I meant to ask you for some banddom recs. Should I start with that one? Actually, go write that essay and then get back to me!

YAY! It's quite a fun read and well-done, so sure :) A great place to start is [livejournal.com profile] wistfuljane's Bandslash resource link roundup - including recs, primers, picspams and more.

I seriously realised during your 'presentation' that I love the idea of road trips/gigging/closeness of bands and how that would lend itself to fics. I will certainly do some thorough research. Thanks for the starter pack!

My 'world of warcraft' addicted accountant flatmate is currently hovering in our shared living area if you have any help with your essay!

Or even if you 'want' any help with your essay. Oh, yes, language is my tool...

Belatedly, thanks for the offer *g*.

And, I've finally started using del.icio.us, so far just for bandslash bookmarks, so feel free to browse if you're looking for reading (though it'll overlap a lot with the recs in the resource page I linked to).

Joey must be AT least at good at signing as singing, so he's still an appropriate host!

I was more thinking sign language, but I'm sure he's a dab hand at autographs *g*.
