ETA: Yay for delaying buying a copy of Infinity on High! Yesterday, I scored a version with bonus dvd, which includes the music videos for "This Ain't A Scene", "Thnks fr th Mmrs" and "The Takeover, The Breaks Over", plus performances from the AOL Sessions (and there are bonus live tracks on the cd). Would anyone be interested in avis of the AOL performances (I'm assuming there'll be someone interested in the music videos)?

Unfortunately not. This is the fandom of youtube. Which of course doesn't have to be a bad thing except for the quality and I totally hate it when there are videos linked in picspams or primers that sound awesome and then I click on them and get a 'video no longer available'. Arrgh! Drives me batshit!

Oops, sorry! Didn't want to rant at you especially since you actually provide non-youtube footage which I appreciate a lot :) .

YouTube is my least favorite thing about bandom - no one uploads anything. I got so spoiled in Popslash - thank to people like you! - the high quality footage was never hard to find.

Is the AOL stuff just audio, or video, too? I only have audio, so I would love some video. Hell, I think I need HQ copies of EVERYTHING in this fandom :)

The AOL performances are videos on the dvd :)

Youtube is ok in that you can go browsing and find all sorts of things, but then it makes me cry because you can either never find them in better quality or they're only in mp4 (and I resented BSB fandom for it's obsession with wmv!).

That's the one :) The majority of FOB (and most bandom) footage seems to get shared as mp4, which is why I'm gonna rip nice big avis from the dvds.

Nope, don't really listen to the radio that much, so had no idea that he was on til I saw someone mention it on the Aussie list. And I'm afraid I have no way of capturing it to the computer.
