Dr Who stuff
Jun. 15th, 2007 09:07 pmThis is me distracting myself with a little picspam and music.
One thing I've been looking forward to during study and exams (well, even longer really, but especially the last two weeks) has been this week's episode of Dr Who.
JACK'S BACK! I've (heh, who hasn't?) been waiting for this since "Parting of the Ways"

his little face! they left him behind! *sob*

and then dying to see it since the 160-odd days since "End of Days" aired. (my reaction still amuses me)

> Youtube file of those vital 30 seconds :)
I flailed in glee watching the trailer last week - except the "Doctor"/"Captain" exchange made me SAD because they're so cold and distant, but that just makes me want to see it MORE. It's possible I'm over-invested in this.
Actually, it's been a bit of a problem. As much as I've enjoyed this season (and I have!), I've been wanting to rush through the other episodes to get to these final ones. And I never did get around to writing the "Five Things That Didn't Happen After the End of Days" that I have plotted out (what a suprise!).
Now for some random pictures.

He has a tiny chocolate dalek!

(sorry, couldn't resist *g*)
A number of these pictures I've only obtained today, from the fabulous picspams that
crunknwj has been doing. Check 'em out, for a hilarious recap of Jack's adventures thus far. Also, many of the screencaps originally came from http://torchwood.time-and-space.co.uk/
I've still got the whole Dr Who soundtrack available here, but if you're not interested in downloading the whole thing, here's a couple of highlights:
+ Song for Ten: extended version of the song from the end of "Christmas Invasion". I can't stop listening to this.
+ Hologram: some music from "Parting of the Ways" which makes me happy-sad everytime I hear it.
I shared John Barrowman's Christmas concert previously, here's some of my favourites:
+ Amazing Grace/Loch Lomond
+ Save the Last Dance For Me
I don't have to warn y'all not to spoil me or anyone else in the comments, do I? :D
