Fic Recs, and Dr Who in Australia

Man, I feel spoiled at the moment, these stories that feel like they were written just for me (I know they weren't, but they're both so good and are NCIS crossovers - of which there can never be enough).

sperrywink wrote Sucked, a fantastic Reid/DiNozzo story set post-LDSK (Criminal Minds/NCIS).

rageprufrock has posted two hilarious NCIS/SGA stories, Highly Classified and Very Hush Hush and Strictly on a Need to Know Basis.

According to The Guide in today's SMH, ABC will be start airing season 3 of Doctor Who, including "The Runaway Bride", on Saturday June 23rd. Channel Ten would have to start airing Torchwood next week (or maybe the week after, I may be counting wrong) for things to air in the proper order. And it's only "Coming Soon" on Ten, so it looks like viewers will again get screwed by the networks not airing things properly.

And they wonder why so many people download.

ETA: according to people on Channel 10 forums, Torchwood starts on Monday June 18th at 9:30pm. Which unless they show a double ep or two, or Dr Who gets pre-empted for a week or two, means the timing is just off.

Our guess is that Torchwood will take over after Supernatural finishes, which is another month or so.

Sounds reasonable. I'm annoyed, for the majority of viewers who'll only see them on tv, that ABC and Ten couldn't get a better schedule worked out.

I definitely thought of you while writing! It's reassuring knowing there are one or two people that will definitely be interested in it, particularly a crossover like this.

I'm hoping that Ten will manage to get ahead of ABC, but it might be safer. Plus, TW eps tend to be 45-46 minutes, so there might have to be a couple of minutes cut from each episode.
