I'm selfishly glad that there's no Dr Who this weekend. I haven't had a chance yet to watch House, Veronica Mars, Criminal Minds or even Supernatural (and thank you all so much for being awesome with the cut tags), and am not sure when I will have time.

Friday night - second Pink show, which was AWESOME. I wish I could have seats that good for every show. hnix and I were in the second front row of a section that was pretty close to the stage, but not so close that we didn't have a good angle. We were about even with the end of the catwalk into the audience, and we were basically at the same height as the stage. Pink was incredible, as always, and this show had Fingers, which was inexplicably not in the first show I went to. I'll try and post some of the little video snippets I took, some turned out reasonable. I didn't bother with many pictures (as they were turning out crap), but these two kind of show how good our spot was.

ETA: I think Pink is going to tour here FOREVER - they've added a 7th Sydney show (goes on sale this week, I was rather tempted) and it's up to 35 shows in total in Australia. It's freaking huge!

Saturday - studied (I've got two tests and an assignment due this week, plus other homework), but didn't get as much done as I'd hoped, then out to dinner with a friend who's back from England for a visit.

This morning - we went out to yum cha for Mother's Day, and now I've got to get back to the study, and try and get this assignment done. Still coughing my lungs up, as my cold settled into my chest and shows no inclination to leave.

I wish this semester was over already, except I'm really not looking forward to exams.

Oh good seats! That is so suprising that the first show you had didn't have Fingers. Maybe they thought it was too dirty? Maybe the net was getting washed *g*

I'm so tempted to go again (a freaking 7th Sydney show goes on sale this week) but I really should be saving, and it's on the week before my exams.

I'm hoping she announces another show in Perth to be honest. Cause apparently we can't get enough of her. She should just keep on doing them until they aren't sold out.

Yeah they sold out. It's very sad, I would have loved to go see her again and take my sister with me. I'm keeping my eye on Ebay but I hate people selling tickets on there on principal.

(I love Ebay. I'm bidding on a set of Collectors Edition Nsync Marionettes. I have no idea why I need another set of puppets. I am so easily swayed by shiny.)

That looks about the same place Hannah, Bernice and I had, minus the aggravating people.

So did she do the net thing to a different song at the other show? That's what she did Fingers to for us.

No aggravating people - the only row in front of us could have been mannequins, they barely moved at all. We were a bit further to the left (as you look out across the floor) from where you guys were, in the next section along. Section 14 sticks slightly further into the floor than 13 does as well, I think that's why our seats felt like they were the same height as the stage. Sections 13&14 (and corresponding on the other side, but I've almost never been there - who do they sell those tickets to?) seem to be the best, I think any further to the left and you'd start getting a rather side-on view.

Nope, there was no net and no Fingers at the concert last Tuesday. I'm assuming there was some sort of net malfunction so they just skipped it entirely.

You should go to another show! Hannah's thinking of going to the show that's on sale this week (I eventually decided I couldn't justify the cost + it's the week before my exams).

Isn't her show amazing? I am actually thinking of going to the show that has just been announce for the 8th of june. Because oh man I could watch her perform forever and I can only hope that I can get great seats like you did. We a had a pretty decent view but nothing like that! I was so excited when she did Fingers at our show, and kind of shocked too. She should just move her and never stop touring!

I am going to try some way. Because I really want to take my mother to see her, which sounds hilarious I know but I think she'd love it. Would it be? Man and you know that'd probably mean it'd be even more wild and crazy. I hope people give her more chocolates! It really was, I wish I was built like her man she is one fit lady!

She ended up skipping a verse in "The One That Got Away" the other night, because she started talking during the song about how hard it was to sing with peanuts caught in her teeth (from some peanut m&ms she was thrown), then they all got confused, lost their place, continued, but ended up skipping a verse. She was laughing and laughing about it.

Wow you were close! But bummer about the net - I think if that was the only show I'd seen and it hadn't had that I'd have wanted my money back. Because HOLY GUH. Yes.

I was disappointed at my first show when Hannah commented that Fingers was missing, and was very happy to see it this week, cause holy fuck it was good. I got some video snippets of that one :D

I've now seen her 4 times in total, which is possibly the most I've seen any 1 artist (that I can think of at the moment). It's appropriate she holds that title, I feel :)
