Did an online test this morning for uni, worth 15% of one of my subjects, but they didn't make our result known straight away. I want to know! Still so much work to do by next Wednesday and Thursday (and Tuesday night is Pink!!!) Fortunately, both the assignments are quite small ones, and the Stats one isn't due til Wednesday week but I'd like to give it a good try by this Wednesday, as that's when I'll see my group (who are far less ulcer-inducing than the Acc251 group-from-hell).

Yay, my sister's friend G (they've been friends about twenty years) had her baby this morning (finally, she was a week overdue), it's a little girl (well, not so little at 8 pounds 9 ounces) and they're both well :)

Normally with my online Stats and Econ quizzes I get the results straight away, but I'm guessing because this is worth more marks, they are holding back the marks until it's over?

Dude, everyone I know seems to be having their babies past the due date (though that might be because most people are having their first). A sort-of-cousin earlier in the year, G, you guys - I'm beginning to think doctor's just can't count very well *g*.

G is a very slim woman, and that's a big baby to be having, ouch! But things went almost as smoothly as you could hope. She woke her husband up at midnight and said "I think things are on" then went back to sleep *g*, her water broke around 4/4:430 am, they were at hospital at about 5/5:30am, and she'd had the baby (no epidural) at 8:30am.

Oh that sounds like the *perfect* birth experience. We'll have one of those with a bag of chips please.

And most of the time the doctors guess about due dates... we of course know (pretty much to the minute) when we conceived *g*

Oh god, now I have a very different mental image of "things Ianto does with his stopwatch".

I hope everything is at least this smooth for you guys - G didn't have any tears or stitches apparently (my sister just got back from a visit).

*giggles* There was certainly not a cute Welshman timing us. Though I did think about the name for a boy, given that we're going with Welsh names...
