erilyn | Hot Fuzz and other good things

I'm trying to post more, with content other than "here's a file of something", so - Wednesday was a good day.

I had fancy afternoon tea (with the BEST EGG SANDWICHES EVER and really slow service) for lunch with

iibnf,

sinden and the visiting-for-not-long-enough

arysteia. We then hassled

tapedeck at work, witnessed the worst service ever and really pushy old ladies while

arysteia bought shoes, and wandered through JB HiFi (I escaped with nothing more damaging than blank dvds and cases).

Then we went and saw Hot Fuzz. For

arysteia and I, it was the first time, for

sinden and

iibnf it was a multiple viewing. And I can understand why they were happy to see it again.

SO FUCKING GOOD ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥. I think the last movie that was so enjoyable and so deeply satisfying to me was Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Everyone should see this movie. I was flailing with glee.

Post-movie, we hooked up with

tapedeck for dumplings at Wagamama, then a drink at our favourite cocktail bar. Have you been drinking too many cocktails when the manager moves people so we can have the comfy corner couch (though that might just be good customer service - after the tea rooms and Myers it's hard to recognise)? But they make good cocktails and lovely chocolate puddings and there haven't been any complaints about loud, butt-sex-laden conversations, so we'll keep going back :)
