Dear NCIS,

HURRY UP AND GET THIS JEANNE STORYLINE OVER AND DONE WITH! Bring on the Tony-angst, when she either dies or refuses to ever speak to him again (I'm assuming she's connected to Le Grenouille, possibly a granddaughter?). She is boring, this storyline is boring, and the reduced interaction between Tony and the rest of the team (because of his scenes with her) are...what's the word...BORING!

So hurry up with her getting caught in the crossfire or something, bring on the Tony-angst and grimness and ill-advised comfort sex with a co-worker. Really, I'm not picky as to which one. Ziva, Gibbs, Abby, McGee, Ducky. Ok wait I have limits - no Tony/Director. Cause she irks me.

As for the rest of the episode - I liked that the teaser was Ducky, and not the usual opening sort of scene. I liked some of the interaction. Can we stop seeing Mike Frank now? This felt very similar to the last episode he was in. Not enough Gibbs interacting with the team, in fact the episode felt quite Gibbs-light overall.

Hee! I agree. And? And? She's whiney and I don't like her. And? I forgot what I was going to say.

Seriously, given that Tony seems to have really fallen for her, I'm assuming it's a case of getting to into an undercover role, cause I cannot see what he'd see in her.

Amen, sister! I was surprised (and disappointed) that they kept the Jeanne story going after Gibbs found out about Tony's undercover assignment and the whole thing with Le Grenouille. So over it now. bleh.

He may as well not be on the team for how often he's not around.

Perhaps he could have ill-advised comfort sex with all his co-workers? Then they get together and compare notes and realise Tony has used the same "oh woe my girlfriend hates me/is dead" spiel on them all.

I do not follow NCIS (though I like the occasional ep) so this is a bit random but... Le Grenouille???? Bzuh? I am always curious when French names/words appear on American shows, particularly when they're the wrong gender. So yes, who is Le Grenouille? Do I need to download some eps and which ones? *g*

The Le Grenouille storyline has been scattered all through season 4, it's just the codename for an arms dealer that they want to bring down. Apart from the name, I can't think if the French aspect has been used at all. I may be spelling it wrong, too *g*.

I totally recommend watching NCIS, I wouldn't recommend it just for this storyline though.

No, no, you're spelling it perfect. It's just that it should be "la" and not "le" since in French, a frog is always a girl, lol. But it's not the first time I've seen switches in gender and I think it's cute. It amuses me at any rate which is why I'm always curious when French pops up in TV shows. I particularly like to see how it then gets translated once it reaches our own TVs. :-D

And I tried NCIS, a friend of mine forcefed me season 1 & 2 I think? Until the first lady gets killed? Before Ziva? And I pretty much... I didn't hate it because there were some good eps, but I still found it to be a little too... shoot first, talk later, and since Ziva arrived, torture first, think about basic rights later. So I gave up. I watch it from time to time just because Tony's fun (and hot) and I like Abby and McGee, but the storylines still often piss me off which is a shame. It's not a bad show but it's not for me. I'd have watched some more if you'd told me there was a French storyline, but since it's just about the name, I'll wait and see it when it gets on TV here. :-)

It's certainly not a deep show (though it has it's moments), but yeah, I can't recommend rushing to check out this storyline, as it's annoying me a lot *g*.

I have this theory that they're doing a thematic thing with Mike, Gibbs, and Tony. Not only do they have the running comparison between Gibbs and Mike, but there's also the thing where Tony was Gibbs, in a sense, at the beginning of the season. The major thing that's different in Gibbs' personality is the loss of his family (and the subsequent losses of his other wives to divorce). Tony hasn't had to deal with any loss so deep, but they certainly seem to be setting him up for one.

Good point :) I just want them to hurry up with the plot, but they must be saving it for May sweeps *g*.
