I'm feeling...disconnected lately. I keep going to write posts, and never get around to finishing them. I'm mostly keeping up with my friendslist but don't comment as much I'd like. Haven't been working on the various fannish projects I've got started on. Haven't been on AIM in what feels like ages.

It's certainly not that I'm drifting away from fandom or fannish friends (or I certainly don't want too), I'm just feeling very vague about things lately. Probably cause works dull, I don't feel like I've got much to say about stuff, feel dull and uninspired and am limbo waiting to be able to finish enroling for the uni year.

Also, haven't had a lot of uninterrupted computer time in the last few weeks, there always seems to be stuff happening around here. And there's so much stuff to watch! I'm all caught up on my shows, except for being two weeks behind on Supernatural and haven't watched Criminal Minds from the other night yet. Plus, I've been watching the what-I-hadn't-already-seen of NCIS over the last two months ie some of S3 then going back and watching most of S1 and S2 (while watching S4 via downloads). And re-reading old fic and old fandoms, and even some actual books.

In other words - blah blah blah whiny excuse-cakes. I'll get over it soon. I don't even have midwinter blues as an excuse!

And if I did post more right now, it'd be 60% NCIS (I've reached and watched "Twilight" (s2 finale) which I'd only ever seen the second half of, and I've been reading fic), 20% Sentinel (been reading and re-reading a bunch - Jim/Blair 4 EVA!!!1!), 10% Torchwood, 10% Heroes, 10% random pop stuff, 10% Stargate, 5% Atlantis, 5% Criminal Minds and some random other stuff.

Randomly - I (and my viewing partner-in-masochism) are giving up on Smallville season 6 for now. It's just been too painful (this is not intended as a slight against those still enjoying it - it's just not for us at the moment). We may return to it when we've got time for me to stay over and get drunk and do a marathon.

Randomly part 2 - why do our proper dvds of NCIS S2 play so crappily on my computer? They're incredibly grainy and worse-picture-quality than the avis, and they cap really poorly (and I so want an icon from just before this bit). Makes me pouty.

I'll get back to the groove soon, I'm sure. I've been reading a lot of Sentinel lately, they'll always be one of my major OTPs.

We all slide in and out of the groove every so often I think. ;-)

Mmm Reading anything good? I haven't for a while and really need to. And yes to the OTPness of them. :D

I know exactly how you feel. I think I just wrote those first three paragraphs myself.

Maybe it's a February thing? Or a winter thing?

I don't have that excuse downunder, I must be getting influenced by the northern hemisphere domination of fandom ;)

Whoa. You tapping into my brain, or what? Because everything you said in the first half of this post? Totally where I'm at right now.

I'm writing it off as the winter blahs, and hoping it'll pass soon. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it does for you, too. *hugs*

Well, I for one would be interested in all of that! I haven't been posting about it much, but I still love NCIS right now so all the NCIS squeeing you would want to do, I'd love to hear it.

And in all honesty, I'm only posting as much as I have been because of email posting from work. Otherwise, I feel lethargic and wan, particularly the last two weeks. Hopefully it passes.

I really must do some random NCIS squee and blather, I really am ridiculously in love with the show at the moment *g*. I could talk about episodes I most want to see: a) flashback to how Gibbs ended up hiring Tony, b) something involving them all to have to look after a baby and c) something where Tony and Ziva have to play a couple again.

Or maybe I shouldn't admit to some of that ;)

I have Sentinel crossover fic I really want to recommend, but sometime in the last fortnight the author's site has vanished. Tis tragical :(

Thanks!

Happy birthday, sweetie, hope you have a fabulous time! Mum's here, she says 'happy birthday, kiddo'.

Gillian says to watch at least the um, the one before the one we just saw. She phoned me up after watching it to yell ARGH at me. She might only want us to watch it in some twisted quest for revenge, though.

It happens to all of us. Real life is dull but still takes up a lot of our time and no escape in sight. I hope it will pass soon. :)

Also, happy birthday! I'm not exactly sure what day it is right now in your neck of the woods but better a little bit early than never.

Limbo sucks. When you feel like life hasn't started it's really difficult to get motivated to do anything.

ManBand (or the show formally known as) will be here soon. That's bound to perk things up. Or make you want to hide in a hole even more.

But hey, happy birthday! :)

Once you get out of the habit of posting, it's so hard to get back into it!

That's one of the good things about having stuff like footage to post - it keeps me posting even when I have nothing to say.
