erilynHope you all have a fantastic time, whatever you are doing this festive season.
I've spent the day making wombok salad, potato salad, setting the table and other fun stuff. There'll be 10 people here for lunch tomorrow (11 including my brother's dog, who gets his own chair *g*), and 2 more will stop by after lunch.
Won't be a day for jumping in the pool, but better mild and cloudy then hot and swimming while the smoke and ash swirl, like last year.

Date: 2002-12-25 05:37 pm (UTC)Wombok is chinese cabbage, and I make a mean salad of it, with shallots, nuts, noodles and dressing (oil, vinegar, soy and sugar).
Actually, the receipe is on the back of the noodles packet, and it's dead easy, but it sounds better the other way ;)
