I've joked it's like Reichen was created by a committee of fangirls as the ideal boyfriend for Lance - good looking, well-spoken, former military (and has written a book), activist for gay rights, minor celebrity already (through winning Amazing Race) blah blah blah etc.
All this, and the major reason I like the guy is cause of how happy Lance looks ;)
I've been casually following the media around those two myself, and they're just so perfect together. It makes me all mushy and lame. *g*
You wouldn't happen to know if Reichen's Amazing Race has been shown here, would you? Because I've never missed a season (yep, I'm a secret Amazing Race fanatic. Well, not so secret now :D), and I don't remember him. You'd think I would. Who did he run with?
Yeah, I'm pretty sure that season of TAR was shown there. Because if I'm not totally off my rocker, that was the season that was on when I was in Sydney. So, that would be Autumn 2003. I remember because I had left the States the week before the season finale, so a friend recorded it for me and put it on DVD to mail it to me. But then there was a whole mix up with my address and I didn't get ther package forever, and I ended up finally getting it just before or just after the finale aired in Australia.
Okay, I just looked it up, and I am right about this. It was Seaon 4. He won with his parter (at the time) Chip. I believe they were the first gay couple to win TAR.
Also, I'm being a moron. Given that I actually lived in Australia during that time, you'd think I wouldn't make a stupid comment like saying it was "Autumn 2003". Because it would've only been Autumn 2003 if you lived in the Northern Hemisphere, which you obviously don't, as that was the whole damn point of this conversation in the first place. So, yeah, make that Spring 2003. Sometime in September and November.
