randomness; file roundup
Nov. 4th, 2006 03:57 pmI'm not procrastinating about studying for three tests at all. It's vitally important that I randomly surf the net and burn dvds for people at the moment, really.
The coming out announcements seem to come in batches (and mostly to People magazine). Lance came out soon after Darren Hayes announced he'd gotten married. Now Neil Patrick Harris confirms he's gay, soon after TR Knight (from Grey's Anatomy) did.
Anyone know if
bachelor_girl is ok?
Nick and Aaron cancelled their visit to Australia to promote House of Carters at the last minute, and there's been no explanation why. Odd.
Random fun - Jai Rodriguez singing Something Special.
Does anyone know if the actress who plays JJ on Criminal Minds is pregnant? She looked a little rounder in the face in this week's episode, and part way through I realised she was wearing a jacket inside/carrying things in front of her/other classic signs of hiding an unscripted pregnancy ;)
MTV has quotes from AJ about the upcoming album and more :Backstreet's back ... almost. Backstreet Boys fans will have to wait just a little longer before they can get their hands on the band's new CD, according to A.J. McLean. "The boys and I are finishing up the new record, coming out at the top of the year," McLean revealed to MTV News at the Moto 8 party Thursday night in Hollywood. "We're about three-quarters of the way through. We just got new mixes, we're just kind of going through the top eight [songs] we have right now, and getting the mix [done] properly. But everyone's really stoked about it. The songs are great, man." Additionally, McLean has spent the last six months working on another solo record. "It's a lot of personal stuff," McLean explained. "Like, my relationship with my father that I don't really have. There's a song about him called 'Sincerely Yours.' There's a lot of songs on the record that are just me expressing who I am and letting everyone know I am my own person outside of Backstreet Boys." Whether McLean resurrects his Johnny No Name alter ego remains to be seen.
