They play for me on Real Player/Windows Media Player (though it tries to look for codecs/VLC, so I'm not sure what the problem might be. If you don't have VLC, I'd suggest getting it and trying, it plays virtually everything (not spyware).

Media Player comes from Microsoft, Real Player comes from http://www.real.com/, but if you need a media player I'd recommend starting with VLC http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ because the other two are bigger/have more tracking stuff as part of the software.
