That's a link to the directory index, to save me linking to all 24 files (893 meg). Professionally filmed, but the sound is rather thin. *sigh* Give us a dvd you bastards!

Also, I've learnt my lesson to stick to authors I know and recs. I thought "what the hell" and went looking for Morgan/Reid stories (I don't watch Criminal Minds primarily or even secondarily for the slash, but they are awfully cute together). I've tried two and need to bathe in bleach. I'm so spoilt by really good fanfic.

I've learned that one. (And had to learn it again more than once, after thinking 'no, really, how hard can it be to find decent stories on my own?')

The other lesson is that if, having been burned, you then go to the trouble of asking for recs, and come up with a big zero, then it probably isn't because everyone is too overwhelmed by choice to rec stuff. More likely it's because the stories for that particular pairing really are that bad.

I like the new vid too. Love the black and white. Yay for the silliness of the dance moves, especially the cuteness of the wiggling at the end. I have a suspicion they'll cut the intro for most of the vid shows, which will get rid of the cute Timber-Timber-ness, but will make it a more reasonable length.

The need for really good fanfic is what's driving me into SGA (well that and the pimping of quality people), there's so much dreck out there in most fandoms and there's not enough of my brain to survive constant scrubbing.

The Barcelona concert I've got is over a gig, but this is the only mpeg version I've seen around of this one. Is the quality any better?

I think it's about the same... each has it's goods and bads, I suppose... I took caps, if you want to compare:

Though, it has a peculiar quirk in that it only shows the correct time when you play it in PowerDVD or any other DVD player. And it has a weird aspect ratio when you take caps, but it plays fine, LOL.

I have a really good quality copy of ITM from Albany NY that I personally taped, but I have no idea how to get it onto my computer....

There's been a discussion on LD and it's possible that this was actually the footage that was shown on the big screens during the concert, which may explain the sound quality, I suppose.

And I'm debating whether I should download these, because the uncut file is rather unwieldy, lol. So, if you see any weird bandwidth usage, it might just be me downloading this. :) (And possibly grabbing Nick, as well).
